Call for artists: Francophone presence in Krakow

Want to exhibit in 2026? In the context of the International Francophonie Day (March 20th, 2026), Klub Kultury Przegorzaly is pleased to invite Francophone visual artists to submit their applications for the upcoming exhibition, which will be held from March 20 to April 20, 2026. The application deadline is 1st March 2026.
This exhibition aims to highlight the work of Francophone artists living or working in Krakow and its surrounding area. It brings together diverse practices and sensibilities, offering a snapshot of the Francophone artistic presence within the city. Rather than proposing a fixed narrative, the exhibition exists as a gesture of visibility—a way of making these artistic presences dialogue with one another and be seen within the local context.
No specific theme, however, works must be original, related to France or French culture, in good exhibition condition, and for wall display only.
Submit original works in any discipline: painting, photography, digital art, printmaking, illustration, text-based work, textiles, etc. Suitable for wall display only. Works may range from representational to conceptual art.
You may submit a single work, multiple pieces, or a series. You must be able to deliver your work to the club and confirm your attendance for the exhibition opening on March 20th, 2026, at 18:00 to introduce yourself and your work.
This non-profit exhibition is funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps Programme. Please note that no financial support, artist fees, or coverage for production, transport, and travel costs are provided. This exhibition is intended as a collaborative opportunity to share your work with the local Francophone artistic community.

Chcesz zaprezentować swoje prace na wystawie w 2026 roku?
W związku z Międzynarodowym Dniem Frankofonii (20 marca 2026 r.), Klub Kultury Przegorzały ma przyjemność zaprosić frankofońskich artystów wizualnych do składania zgłoszeń na nadchodzącą wystawę, która odbędzie się w dniach od 20 marca do 20 kwietnia 2026 r.
Termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń upływa 1 marca 2026 r.
Celem wystawy jest przybliżenie twórczości artystów frankofońskich mieszkających lub tworzących w Krakowie i jego okolicach. Chcemy aby było to spotkanie różnych wrażliwości i praktyk artystycznych, które wspólnie tworzą obraz współczesnej obecności frankofonii w przestrzeni Krakowa. Jest to próba nawiązania dialogu między postawami artystycznymi i osadzeniem ich w lokalnym kontekście.
Wystawa nie ma narzuconego motywu przewodniego, jednak zgłaszane prace muszą być oryginalne, nawiązywać do Francji lub kultury francuskiej oraz być w dobrym stanie technicznym. Przyjmujemy wyłącznie prace przeznaczone do ekspozycji ściennej.
Zapraszamy do przesyłania oryginalnych dzieł wykonanych w dowolnej technice: malarstwa, fotografii, sztuki cyfrowej, grafiki warsztatowej, ilustracji, tkaniny artystycznej czy prac opartych na tekście. Akceptujemy różnorodne formy wyrazu – od sztuki figuratywnej po konceptualizm.
Można zgłosić pojedynczą pracę, kilka osobnych dzieł lub cały cykl. Warunkiem uczestnictwa jest możliwość dostarczenia prac do siedziby klubu oraz potwierdzenie obecności na wernisażu, który odbędzie się 20 marca 2026 roku o godzinie 18:00. Podczas otwarcia artyści będą mieli okazję osobiście przedstawić siebie oraz swoją twórczość.
Wystawa ma charakter non-profit i jest finansowana przez Unię Europejską w ramach programu Europejski Korpus Solidarności. Prosimy o zwrócenie uwagi, że organizatorzy nie zapewniają wsparcia finansowego, honorariów artystycznych ani zwrotu kosztów produkcji, transportu czy dojazdów. Wystawa jest pomyślana jako wspólna inicjatywa, dająca szansę na zaprezentowanie swojej twórczości w kręgu lokalnej społeczności artystów frankofońskich z Krakowa i okolic.

Dans le cadre de la Journée internationale de la Francophonie (20 mars 2026), le Klub Kultury Przegorzaly a le plaisir d’inviter les artistes visuels francophones à soumettre leurs candidatures pour la prochaine exposition, qui se tiendra du 20 mars au 20 avril 2026.
La date limite de candidature est fixée au 1er mars 2026.
Cette exposition vise à mettre en lumière le travail d’artistes francophones vivant ou travaillant à Cracovie et dans sa région. Elle rassemble des pratiques et des sensibilités diverses, offrant un aperçu de la présence artistique francophone au sein de la ville. Plutôt que de proposer un récit figé, l’exposition existe comme un geste de visibilité, une manière de faire dialoguer ces présences artistiques entre elles et de les rendre visibles dans le contexte local.
Aucun thème spécifique n’est imposé ; toutefois, les œuvres doivent être originales, liées à la France ou à la culture française, en bon état d’exposition, et destinées exclusivement à un accrochage mural.
Soumettez des œuvres originales dans toute discipline : peinture, photographie, art numérique, estampe, illustration, œuvres textuelles, textile, etc. Les œuvres doivent être adaptées à un accrochage mural uniquement. Les œuvres peuvent être figuratives ou bien conceptuelles.
Vous pouvez proposer une seule œuvre, plusieurs pièces ou une série. Vous devez être en mesure de livrer votre travail au club et de confirmer votre présence au vernissage le 20 mars 2026 à 18h00, afin de vous présenter ainsi que votre travail.
Cette exposition à but non lucratif est financée par l’Union européenne dans le cadre du programme du Corps européen de solidarité. Veuillez noter qu’aucun soutien financier, honoraires d’artiste, ni prise en charge des coûts de production, de transport ou de déplacement ne sont prévus. Cette exposition est conçue comme une opportunité collaborative de partager votre travail avec la communauté artistique francophone locale.
