Dziady – „Winter is coming”

Zapraszamy obcokrajowców, studentów oraz wolontariuszy programu Erasmus Plus oraz osoby dorosłe posługujące się biegle językiem angielskim do udziału w Dziadach, które odbędą się 20 października o godzinie 18:00. Dziady to stary słowiański rytuał, związanych z obcowaniem żywych ze zmarłymi. Wydarzenie to ma na celu zaprezentowanie cudzoziemcom polskich tradycji kultywowanych przez Słowian, w celu upamiętniania duchów przodków i dla życzenia szczęścia i dobrobytu na nadchodzący czas zimowy.

Dziady is an ancient Slavic feast, commemorating the dead. It could be called as Slavic Halloween.The event is created with the objective to present to foreigners the Polish winter traditions, as Slavic people used to do in the past to commemorate the spirits of their ancestors and wish luck and prosperity for the incoming winter time.
All the foreigners in Krakow are welcome to participate in Dziady event and prepare with us for the heavy winter time in Poland… because „Winter is coming” 🙂
