Handmade journal workshop with Azalee

Join us to create your very own handmade A5 notebook over two fun and creative sessions! This workshop is all about hands-on making and playful experimentation. Step by step, we’ll prepare, print, and assemble your notebook. No experience needed!
Workshop 1 – Covers & Page Prep
Design your notebook cover using a simple gelatin printing. Then we’ll prepare the inside pages and make the holes ready for sewing.
Workshop 2 – Sewing
Time to bring it all together! Follow a relaxed collective rhythm to sew your notebook. By the end, you’ll take home your very own handmade A5 notebook.

About the instructor:
Azalee Bertheau is a 24-year-old French artist and European Solidarity Corps volunteer within a project called IntegrART9 at Klub Kultury Przegorzały (2025/26). She loves multi-media, hands-on creation, and combining prints, collage, and handmade objects. Azalee guides participants through both technical and creative processes, encouraging experimentation and personal expression.
This workshop is funded by the European Union under the European Solidarity Corps Programme.

Stwórz swój własny, ręcznie robiony notatnik w formacie A5. Podczas warsztatów krok po kroku przygotujemy unikatowy notes. Nie wymagamy żadnego doświadczenia.
Spotkanie 1 – Okładki i przygotowanie stron
Zaprojektujemy okładkę własnego notatnika przy użyciu prostej i efektownej techniki druku żelatynowego (gelatin printing). Następnie przygotujemy wewnętrzne strony i wykonamy otwory pod szycie.
Spotkanie 2 – Szycie
Czas połączyć wszystko w całość! W relaksującym, wspólnym rytmie zszyjemy przygotowane elementy. Pod koniec zajęć notatnik będzie gotowy.
