Mold it in English – 2 Session Pottery Workshop
Get hands-on with clay and create your own ceramic set in this practical, two-part workshop conducted entirely in English.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the art of pottery from scratch. Whether you’re a local or an expat, join us for a creative Saturday afternoon at the studio.
Schedule
This is a two-session workshop. Attendance at both dates is required:
- Part 1 (Building)
Saturday, July 18th
17:00 – 19:00 (120 min) - Part 2 (Glazing)
Saturday, July 25th
17:00 – 19:00 (120 min)
Price: 150 PLN (covers the full 2-session cycle) Duration: 120 minutes per session
Important Note: Your fired pieces will be ready for pickup 3 weeks after the final session. You can collect them anytime during our regular studio opening hours.
What you will create?
We will focus on hand-building a functional 3-piece set:
- A personalized cup
- Small bowls
- A matching plate
The Process
- Session 1: Shaping & Sculpting – You’ll learn fundamental hand-building techniques to form your pieces from raw clay.
- Session 2: Glazing & Finishing – After the first firing, you’ll return to apply professional glazes and paints to add color and a waterproof finish to your work.
What to expect?
No prior experience is necessary. Our instructor will provide full support and technical guidance at every stage of the process, ensuring you go home with a finished set you can actually use.

About the instructor:
Anna Gulanowska is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, specializing in Design and Artistic Education in Visual Arts. She is also a certified ceramics instructor. For several years, she has shared her passion for clay by leading workshops for both children and adults in cultural institutions and art studios, alongside creating custom commissioned pieces.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Full Refund: A full refund is available for written cancellations submitted to zapisy.przegorzaly@dworek.eu at least 7 business days before the scheduled start of the workshop.
- Late Cancellations: For cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start date, the fee is non-refundable due to organizational costs and seat reservation.
- Participant Substitution: If you are unable to attend, you may designate someone to take your place up until the day the workshop begins. In this case, the fee will be fully credited to the new participant at no additional cost.
- Cancellations by the Institution: If the workshop is cancelled by the Institution, participants will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
- Attendance: The workshop fee is fixed regardless of actual attendance. No refunds or partial credits will be issued for missed sessions.
