The Future of Now – wystawa
The Future of Now to wystawa prac plastycznych o tematyce ekologicznej i społeczno-ekonomicznej, łącząca smutną rzeczywistość z ironią i estetyką malarstwa akrylowego. Na wystawę składają się prace malarskie Kristiana Guzmy, uczestnika projektu IntegrART ze Słowacji, żywe obrazy wykonane przez wolontariuszy Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarności oraz wielkoformatowe prace wykonane przez dzieci w czasie warsztatów artystycznych. Projekt koncentruje się na podnoszeniu świadomości na temat problemów społecznych i środowiskowych, z jakimi boryka się obecnie ludzkość oraz ogromnego wpływu, jaki mają one na przyszłość. Celem projektu jest promowanie aktywizmu i solidarności wśród osób z lokalnej społeczności i emigrantów w Krakowie poprzez przypomnienie im wpływu obecnego stylu życia społeczeństwa na przyszłość Ziemi i ludzkości oraz stworzenie przestrzeni do wymiany poglądów i punktów widzenia.
Projekt dofinansowany z budżetu Unii Europejskiej i zrealizowany w ramach programu Europejski Korpus Solidarności.
The Future of Now is an exhibition of
visual art pieces on topic of ecological and socioeconomical issues in the
current climate, combining the sad reality with irony and aesthetics of acrylic
paintings. The exhibition includes paintings by Kristian Guzma, a participant in the IntegrART project from Slovakia, live paintings made by volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps, and large-scale works made by children during art workshops. The project is
focused on raising awareness about social and environmental issues humanity is
facing at the moment and the huge impact they have on the future. Aim of the
project is promoting activism and solidarity among people from local community
and expats in Cracow by reminding them the impact of current life style of
society on the future of Earth and humanity and by giving them space to
exchange their opinions and points of view.
The project is co-financed from the European Union budget and carried out under the European Solidarity Corps program.
